D1AMOND Study
/in News /by Dr. J Alan FryIf your child has Tourette’s Syndrome, local doctors need their help with the D1AMOND study testing an investigational drug.
If your child has Tourette’s Syndrome, you know that physical (motor) and verbal (vocal) tics can be frustrating because they are unpredictable and disruptive. No matter how often tics happen or how intense they are, they can be difficult to diagnose and manage.
The D1AMOND study is researching the use of an investigational drug in children and adolescents with Tourette’s Syndrome.
To be eligible for this study, your child must:
- Be 6 to 17 years of age
- Be diagnosed with Tourette’s Syndrome
- Have both motor and vocal tics that interrupt normal routines
Pre-qualified participants will be seen by a doctor and receive all study-related exams, care and medications at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
